Exmoor Ales founded in 1979 in the famous brewing town of Wiveliscombe is now the largest brewery in Somerset.

Range of five permanent ales and six seasonal cask ales are brewed. 

Exmoor Gold 4.5% is the most famous being the first "Golden Ale", and Exmoor Ale 3.8% winner of the GBBF. Exmoor Gold and Beast are also bottled.

About half the output goes to 350 pubs supplied in the SW and half nationally.
